Helping Your Dog Fetch More out of Life!
Evaluation & Rehabilitation
With a full evaluation, we will treat your canine with a customized program that can greatly improve the life of your dog. After receiving a referral from your primary veterinarian or surgical team, the rehabilitation/therapies promote safe & effective treatment, to regain health & healing.
Swimming
Swimming is a fantastic low-impact exercise perfect for senior dogs, overweight dogs, or dogs recovering from injury or surgery. The resistance of the water is also great for conditioning the bodies of canine athletes. See our Performance Sports for Dock Diving classes.
Fitness
Each patient will require certain exercises relating to their specific injury and body type. Particular levels of exercise will safely encourage strengthening, joint range of motion, muscle and ligament flexibility, proprioception and balance, endurance, agility and weight management. All exercises are demonstrated and taught to each client so they safely and efficiently perform these at home in a daily exercise program.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy can produce a unique environment for exercise to which no other can compare. Our state of the art underwater treadmill combines the use of warm water and buoyancy to encourage ease of movement with little to no joint pressure. Thus, promoting increased joint range of motion, muscle strengthening through resistance, and heightened proprioception with repetition for neurological re-education.
Massage & Manual Therapy
Massage, myofascial-release and trigger point therapy are focused, intentional and deliberate touches of a variety of strokes. By manipulating tissue we can achieve increased circulation, stimulate and improve proprioception of nerves, relieve muscle spasms, relax and reduce stress. It also aids the body in functioning more efficiently by bringing oxygen and nutrients to the needed areas.
Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is a painless use of laser energy to generate a photo-chemical response in damaged or dysfunctional tissue. Laser therapy can alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate recovery from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Laser therapy is a drug-free, surgery-free technique.
Chiropractic, acupuncture
We offer specialized chiropractic care & acupuncture with our in-house staff of certified practitioners or veterinarians. Booking by appointment only.
